I am having this issue lately with my jeep popping out of first gear..kind of aggrevating..want to make sure of what I need to ask when I take it to dealer and does anyone know if this is covered in the warranty?

 

It's is a problem a few have had. I had it too until I understood what was happening. It is not syncing up between 1rst and 2nd gear. When I down shift or come to a stop I always go through the gears down to 1rst. That seems to sync the gears and prevents it from popping out of gear. Some have had it happen so much that it has done damage to the transmission. The dealer has fixed there problems and maybe yours too.

 

Thanks it always scares the heck out of me and generally I down shift thru the gears when stopping just habit I guess. Taking it to the dealer next week so hopefully they get it worked out. Finally have the death wobble fixed and now this.
