i have a 07 jk x model and im running 265/75/16 copper stt on the stock 16x7 rim. i want to get 16x8 what is the back spacing i need. im gonna get the crager soft 8 in 16x8 and they have 5 bs or the same style in procomp has 4.5 bs i believe. which one will stick out further im not quite shure how that works. buy the way great site and a bunch of great rides on here. thanks

4.5 or 5 would both work, The higher the backspacing the less the rim will stick out of the fender. I wouldn't go any more than 5 with a big tire on there. I have 16x8's with a 4" backspacing they only stick out about an inch, just enough to sling up some good mud!

Ageed, I have 5" and do just fine with 35x18's and the Teraflex 2.5bb for which most people have concerns (because of the bar-ends). I wouldn't do any less than 5 or any more than 4.
