Yup that is it. Some people take a big a$$ hammer to it. Some people cut it off, I cut mine off and hit it with some black spray paint.

Went ahead and cut mine and used some spray paint to touch it up when I went to 37's

sawzall took quick work of it but I think you could use a hack saw and get the same results.

I would suggest the hammer I cut mine first then used the hammer. Wish I would if never cut it cuz the seem splits when u beat on it.

I went with flat fenders which helped with the fender clearance. You will definitely need to trim the pinch seams about an 1 1/2 to 2". If you keep the stock fenders you will need to extend the aftermarket bump-stops that came with your lift another 1 1/2 to 2" as well.

My 35's rub my stock rubi rails just driving on the roads. They come a little too close to the pinch seam for me to be comfortable. I would imagine that with 37's you would come in contact, even if your just daily driving.

Yep I just put on some takeoff rubi rails on mine and can't believe how close it is to the tire. I'm trying to figure out the best way to cut them down and keep them looking good

I cut 2" off the back of my rubi rails and put the end cap on and you wouldn't even know it was done unless you were familiar with the stock length. I used a sawzall took 10 minutes to do it.
