Default Fitting rims with tires

hey guys,

I was wondering how wide of tires you can fit on the stock rims for the unlimited "X" S Package. they are 17"x7.5". also i was wondering what rim width would be reamended for diferent tire widths? a list or table would be nice to have.

Thanks

Most manufacturers list approved rim widths with the tire specs. You can take a look at tirerack.

The widest tire that I would run on a 7.5" wide rim is a 305, but I'm pretty sure that there are people running 315s on 7.5" wide rims.

Needless to say, wide tires plus stock rims means you will need a set of wheel spacers.
