Default fixed control arms vs. adjustable control arms?

Why choose adjustable over fixed? Future suspension mods? Different adjustment settings?

Kinda new to the ins and outs of lifts and what goes into them--as far as technical things go.

If you are lifting your vehicle non adjustable control arms are a waste. You will not be able to adjust, Pinion angle, Castor angle's and wheelbase to name a few.

Hope this helps.

Well, it's sort of a "duh!" answer, and you already got it. But, other than my saying, "because a particular Jeep needs different settings", one can get specific to their situation. In my case, I didn't like the flighty steering I had after a 2.5" BB (budget boost), so I installed front adjustable lower control arms to allow proper setting of the caster.

And I bought them from David. Since you're new around here, let me mention that you can't go wrong buying things from David.

Plus with a set of arms that have a flex joint on the end, you can get more flex.

TeraFlex arms do. Our rear uppers have flex ends on both. Lowers have one on end and a clevite bushing on the other.

Would using your arms show any improvement on a 2" lift?

Actually they can! If you have a wheel shimmy that won't go away these can give you the adjustment you need to cure it. Plus increased flex when your offroad.
