Default Flashpaq and Octane boost?????

Living in AZ and super here is 91 octane and would like to run 93 tune in vehicle. What are your thoughts about adding octane boost to bump up from 91 to 93. Is there anybody already doing this? What if any bad outcomes could I be setting myself up for??

Honestly, the minimal gains arent't worth all the trouble. I had a Flashpaq on my last JK and preferred the tow tune, or just the 87 tune. You can also end up with detonation if you run lower octane fuel than the tune requires.

I tried the higher octane tunes and didn't see a justifiable improvement over the 87 performance tune. At our nearly 5K altitude regular is 85 octane, but I've not had any issues with the 87 tune. I think it is noticeably better than stock.

I tried the 87 and I was getting 13.4 mpg. Switched to the 93 tune and now getting 16.2 mpg.
