Flashpaq owners - flash back to stock!
I've had my flashpaq for a while now (maybe a month or two). I decided to go back to stock just for fun. Wow! For anyone who's been running the flashpaq for a while I highly suggest trying this. It becomes really apparent how much the flashpaq improves driveability!
The only thing I like better about the stock tune is that the throttle sensitivity at very low throttle positions is reduced on the stock tune. I'm sure this isn't an issue with an automatic. With 6 speed and flashpaq tune when I try to cruise through slow roads at 25 - 30 mph at 2,000 RPM you really have to watch the throttle. It's so sensitive at that RPM range and speed the ride can get pretty jerky if you don't really watch it. I'm guessing flashpaq may have done all their R&D on an auto. So maybe us 6 speed guys need to drop them some emails about this.
Other than that one little nit pick the flashpaq is so much more pleasant to drive than the stock tune. I'm going to leave the stock tune on for the rest of today before I switch back again.

Yeah it is funny I felt the same thing. When I first installed it I did not feel much difference if any. When I went back to stock weeks later for some reason I really felt a difference, it felt much slower.
Yep, returning to stock is way more revealing than installing a tune. Had to do it just the other day when I took the Jeep in for service and it definitely moved a lot more slothfully. The worst was with my Dodge Ram and going back to stock and decided to do an update that didn't take. Was short on time and didn't have an opportunity to re-install the upgrade and drove it for a week without my Flashpaq. That was definitely painful and I'll figure out a way so I don't end up in that situation again.
