Default Flat fenders

I am buying a 4 door rubicon this week and I am wondering what size tires i can fit (with or without wheel spacers) if I put on flat fenders? Any thoughts? I am looking to fit 35's with the least ammount of lift possible. I loved the look of the mopar "lower forty".

pretty much any budget boost(2 inch spring spacers) will be good......you can run 35's stock but will rub fenders on any flex

sure, with chopped fenders or other flat fender setup, you should be able to run 35's with little to no rubbing.

Saw a Jeep on PowerBlock TV the other weekend - had Bushwacker flat flares and the guy claimed it cleared 35's with spacers and no other mods.

I'm in the middle of doing something like that. Flat fenders, stock wheels with 1.5" spacers, 35" BFG km2s, Leveling kit no "lift". Should all fit.

35's don't rub at all after I choped the fenders, there are 1.25spacers installed also.
Still waiting for my JK to be shipped overseas, my lift an tires are already here! jus need the Jeep now!

Anyway hope this helps make up your mind.

Missed that - good catch.

You can clear 35's no problem if you cut your fenders and a spacer. I am looking to only go up to 33's, so i do no need the lift. But, my local shop said to do a spacer lift if i went 35's. It was about a 2 hour job for me. I am getting better at it now that I have done a few of them. Check it out. I have a video to of more of the underside.

I am running 315x75R16 BFG KM2's on Black Rocks 16x8 wheels with 4.25 backspacing with no lift. I have the Xenon narrow flares. I haven't run it disconnected yet, but there is no rubbing while connected so far. This is temporary for me, but I can see it working long term if you don't off road too much.
