I agree with just cutting your stock fender flares. I used a Dremel to cut mine. I have taken the $450-500 and spent it on other items.

I have the Poison Spyder Customs Flat Fenders, they look great! Doing it again I would go with the aluminum fenders Vs. Steel due to weight.

Personally the best chop I've seen. Good job. Did the paint want to crack at all? I have painted fenders as well

Nope didn't have any issues with the paint chipping. I just put the drimel on a low speed and made me cut line then slow went over it till it cut through. Wear a long sleeve shirt when you cut it though that melted plastic burns when it lands on you, just my 2 cents.

x2 on the hot plastic ! THEN even after the first time was I smart enough not too touch it again?

Man that looks nice, really like the painted fenders chopped. To me it makes the Jeep look more CJ'ish.

To the OP I just used a Jig-saw to cut mine. Touched up the edges with a file and some sand paper and called it good.
