I have the flexi-version but think I could have just as easily gotten the instatrunk on my 4-door and been just as happy. I've had the flexi for about 3 months now and never have changed it from its original configuration. I really do like it though. Either way, flex or standard is awesome. Your stuff is locked away, it doesn't blow around if the top is down, it's so cool to have. I don't feel very worried about someone breaking into my flexi... it's pretty tough and I think a person would have to more or less jump up and down on the trunk to break in, and even then they have no idea what is inside. It might be something worthwhile or not. So if they have no motivation -- maybe they don't bother. No one has attempted to break into my flexi so far, knock on plastic

It is a well designed unit that fits the back of the truck well. However in a dark alley it would only take 1 jump ontop of the unit to open it up. I still like mine, but I live in a rural area.

There are metal bars going across the plastic inside, but I think they are just added to make it a little more ridged. I like mine, keeps things hidden and have not had any issues with it in Cleveland, OH.
Go here to see some pics I took of the inside and out with top down

Seems like a well placed plastic milk crate or two would reinforce

it and provide storage. You can jump on those things all day.

Any 15" milk crates out there?

I've got the flexatrunk. Only downside is the softtop no longer folds completely flat... the mopar boot doesn't quite fit all the way. Aside from that, i have no complaints about it. It's strong enough for my purposes, and keeps the honest honest. Realistically if someone wanted my stuff bad enough, they'd find a way to get it. This at least blocks the visual temptation of my toolboxes...
