What width of wheels and what backspacing did you go with? Also how much air are you running in your tires?

Well there`s still quite a few people on here who think a steering stabilizer is not needed. It sounds like one is in order to me. Thats why aftermarket companies make them. It sounds like all your ducks are in a row. You may want to doulble check the track bar & see if everything is tight. If all is good, go with a SS. I know that wandering/floaty feeling, and I don`t care for it either.

That's quite a bit of backspacing, but there are plenty of people on here running the same set-up with no problems. It's probably just something that you need to get used to. Jeeps handle much differently with lift and wide tires, especially if you are transitioning from stock to 4" of lift and Approx. 28.5" tires to 35's. Sorry I couldn't be any more help but your system sounds solid. I've had several Jeeps and they all handle noticably different after lift and tires.....

i already put one in. it took care of most of it, but did not eliminate all of it. is this just the nature of having a lifted jeep?

I think it is to an extent. Your center of gravity is higher. And running larger tires IMO relates to the wandering. I know everytime I`ve increased my tire size, I get more floaty. I think it`s because your contact patch is larger so it tends to track differently, and there`s a little more strain on components. Also, I think every kits springs are a little different as well, some are stiff (mine), others are cushy, spingy, etc. When you`re suspension is 4" higher than it was, you`re gonna tend to move around a little bit more up there. Just my opinion, and most people in my life don`t care about it , so there ya go .

Mine tends to do it too, but it's most noticeable around town around 35-40 mph. I assume it's from the wider tires trying to follow the ruts in the road.
