Default FLoor jack and jacks

Do you all feel that this combination is sufficient and is a decent deal. I am having a difficult time finding good tools in the town I live in.

what stores do you have around? I bought some 12 ton jack stands from harbor freight and a craftsman jack when I did mine. sams/costco often have good deals.

I got mine from the local auto parts store.

3 ton floor jack 21" lift height - $80
3 ton stands - $30

That's the tallest lift height I saw locally. It works well, but I still us a bit of 2x4 on occasion.

The jack stands work fine, but I would have gone with heavier duty, higher lift ones if I could have found any.

That's overpriced.
check autozone or one of the other chain type parts store. they have an SUV 2.5T jack and stand combo for less than $200. That's what I used for my JK unltd and I did my buddies FJ suspension install too, no problems. just an SUV jack will only cost $79 at autozone.

I found a 3-ton GM Performance Parts SUV jack from Wal-Mart for $80. Works great.

The one in the link you provided looks nice.... but for the $$ it better be aluminum and light as a feather

I'm diehard Craftsman but the Sears here sucks for carrying anything. Found a real nice 3ton Kobalt at Lowes that has a "one pump to frame" gimmick built in. Works good and got stands with it for $130.
