Default Flow Master 40 Delta Flow

Hi guys,

Just installed my FM 40 Delta flow muffler and removed the stock one. I really do like the sound, idle is quiet and cruising is not to bad at all. The only annoyance i have is that between 1700-2100 RPM (a very very used range of RPM) the sound is extremely loud and in cabin noise levels are annoying! (maybe not to others, but at least for me)

I was wondering if resonator tips or adding a cherry bomb before the FM would help... The tone is super super low and sounds very aggressive, but i wonder if i'm cut out for an aftermarket muffler.

sorry for lack of video or audio clip, will try to grab soon.

like stated above, try to fix it and you'll be out even more. change the muffler and sell the new one. try the 60 and let me know. i don't want the 40 for that reason to.

.
That RPM range is probably your highway cruising range in OD if you are running stock gears and PCM programming which it it worst.
If you are planning to install larger tires, gears or a programmer in the near future, do that first or you may have to go through the exercise twice.

think i'll try some DIY fixes and see how i can work things out. I guess it can't get worse.

First i'm going to try adding a resonator before the muffler and see if that changes the rpm range for the sound if that doesn't work i'm going to just live with it cause its honestly not that bad.
