I was wondering that too, I had a D.E.E. SS Monte Carlo in 02 and put a pair of series 40's on it, it had a nice rumble (for a v6 that is).

I had one on my XJ, and liked the sound, however since this is the wifes JK, we'll keep it quiet with the factory exhaust.
Just gotta get her a louder horn.

Got a 40 installed, took less than 45 mins at a local performance muffler shop. I love the sound!! It has a deep sound just like you said between the 2 and 3k mark, really sounds good at lower speeds and it kinda gets drowned out at freeway speeds even with the top down so that is a plus. Sounds like a beast, not a ricer. I recommend it, and will post some sound clips soon.

That part number is what i used to relocate it to under the drivers seat(4dr only)...you could do it in your driveway with a hacksaw and some muffler clamps if you'd like, i welded mine in though...
