Fog light issue with LoD bumper
For those of you with the LoD mid-width bumper and oem fog lights, did it appear that the light out put diminished when they were installed in the LoD bumper? I just drove my Jeep at night with the new bumper, and now the light outputs seems to be barely noticeable compared to the stock location. I know they sit a little higher then factory and are much wider apart.
Also, following the instructions on project-jk, the adjustment screws head is point towards the ground, does that seem right?
I turned my lights on shining on to the garage door from about 30ft away. The foglights seem to be even with the the headlight cut-off line [my headlights are adjusted down a little compared to stock].
Basically, are my fogs installed the right direction, and/or how do I adjust them down?

your fogs look dim because you have them installed wrong. the directions on the write-up have the adjustment screws pointing down because that's the way they are supposed to be installed.
Going by the pictures on the LoD bumper install write-ups on the Project-JK website, it appears the adjustment screws have the head of the screws pointing towards the ground. Would I need to turn the screw clockwise or counter-clockwise to aim them down?
the head needs to be pointing down. all things being equal, they should already be set to where they need to be or there abouts. unfortuantely, you will have to do some trial and error to determine which way to adjust them as i do not recall which way you need to go.
I am using a lod midwidth and oem fogs. On my install the foglights had to have the screwholes way overdrilled. If they don't slide over the mounting bolts easily they bind up and won't adjust because the plastic foglight housing distorts as you tighten the nuts making aiming impossible. Also on mine when I mounted the lights into the bumper the front lens that pivots when you make adjustments to the screw was tight against the front of the bumper, so again it couldn't move when I turned the screw to be aimed.
The solutions that worked for me were drilling out the mounting holes on the light quite a bit and also using washers over the mounting bolts before placing the light on them. This pushed the light away from the bumper enough to allow it to aim. Even then I couldn't get it aimed just right until I put extra washers on the top bolts so the light pointed down more.

My driver light was fine without adjustment. On the passenger side it w3as too far outside and too low, so I put...
5 washers upper left
3 washers lower left
3 washers upper right
1 washer lower right
This got me about even alignment compared to the driver side shining on a wall at about 5 ft. Took a lot of trial and error, and maybe an hour to get it right.
