Default Formula for my JK?

My Dealer says that DC can not reflash or reset or what ever my computer for my new 33in tires. They said I would have to find out the formula to plug that in to the computer. I am as lost as a Billy goat. Can anyone help?

Things I told them:

1. I lifted it 2.5 in with a Skyjacker suspension lift
2. I went from stock 18 in rims and the tires to 16 in rims and 33’s
3. The steering wheel appears straight however; I get the ESP trying to take over in sharp turns

Answer bring it in we can not reset or program the computer for your new set up with out the formula and DC does not give us formulas for MOD’s

My appointment is on Wed. Any and all help would be great.

Thank you

Well, if you're looking to have your speedometer set for 33's, they will not be able to do it as the dealership computers can only calibrate it up to 32" tires. Sorry.

Thank you for the fast response. What about the ESP thing? They said it may need to be recalibrated? Do I need a formula for that? I just want the damn thing to stop having a Rodeo show in big curves.

Well, I know you said it looks straight but I would double check your steering wheel as it being off even by a bit is the number one source of the ESP going off after a lift. Also, what kind of tire pressure are you running? Now that you have much taller side walls, they will flex more on turns and that could be a source of your ESP going off as well.

Not really sure on the tire pressure. What should I run? I will have the dealership make sure the steering is in check.

For 33's, I'd say 28-30 psi.

I will check and adjust accordingly to see if that works. Thanks again and Kotos to you for a great and very informative site.

Default one last thing

Any chance of dipping or what ever running those PSI's if everything is aligned right?
