Default Fox 2.0 or Bilstein 5100?

Bilstein 5100 - $100
Fox 2.0 - $135

Are Fox shocks worth the extra $35 per shock over the Bilstein?

Ive run both and prefer the fox's. I prefer the ride on and off road, and like that they are aluminum bodied.

I've done both and think I actually preferred the bilsteins. They both performed well off road, but for my jeep the bilsteins seemed to have a slightly better on road ride.

Either way, I was happy with the performance of both, and don't think you'd go wrong with either one; except in which, I think I'm saying that for me it wouldn't be worth the extra $140.

To me it would depend on the shock lengths they offered...

Did you price around other Canadian suppliers? What lift did you buy? Was Northridge you best offer?

I went through 3 sets of shocks. Procomp pro runners ( good shock for the price. I was impressed but still bumpy on road). 5100's (great shock for the price, nice combo ride but still felt harsh on road ). Fox 2.0 ( pricey but not horribly priced, bds tuned seem to have a softer on road ride, perfect with 3.5' lift. As long as i have this jeep it will have FOX. )

Ran both and both are quality shocks.... bilstein seem to be a bit firmer fox aluminum bodies are nice no corrosion free lengths depending on shocks are close.

I run fox now bit will probably go bilstein 9500 when I go bypass.
