Fox stabilizer?

I run a "regular" Fox ss and it makes the Jeep pull to the left. When I bought it it had around 60psi. I had the shop take it down to 35psi and it still pulls. They won't take it lower than that (they said Fox said not to go lower than 35). It defanately pulls. When I take the ss off the Jeep drives perfectly straight (other than "road crown" pull). One day I'll upgrade to the new Fox.

Oh Jesus, don't say that too loud.... The anti-stabilizer prophets will come down from the steering geometry heaven to preach their gospel on " properly set up" systems not needing one

I still had the jeep up on stands and cycled the steering left to right.
Making sure I was centered in its stroke before fully tightening the clamp.
Changing directions--the first 1-2" of travel in either direction--there was a loose/dead spot in the steering. Hard to explain. It was not smooth turning the wheel in either direction.
I thought I had another issue until I disconnected the shock.
Thoughts
I still had the jeep up on stands and cycled the steering left to right.
Making sure I was centered in its stroke before fully tightening the clamp.
Changing directions--the first 1-2" of travel in either direction--there was a loose/dead spot in the steering. Hard to explain. It was not smooth turning the wheel in either direction.

We had TF's new 9550 on the Jeep for a bit. Before I put it on I extended and compressed it by hand and those suckers are stiff. But doing some mild wheeling on uneven trails it was just allowing to much feedback through the steering wheel via wicked bump steer. Good thing I didn't choose a good line over some small fallen trees and caved that puppy in something fierce. Needed to go anyway... Lol
So now it's band-aided with an old 5100 an that's better than the TF was for me but I really just want that stiff and solid feel in the wheel.
