Default Frame Flex?

Guys I think I have an Issue with my Jeep...

A while back I installed an LoD rear bumper with a 37"tire and a hi lift jack.

The Issue I had ever since, is that when I drive over bumps the Jeep is much more stiffer on bumps. I know I have suspension travel it's not like I have the shocks squeezed down or anything.. I do know it coming from the back.

What got me thinking is the way the bumper ties up to the Jeep.. IT sure has more bolts then the factory and PJ!

I was reading something about frame flex and that you should have some frame flex.. Is this true? or do I need to lear English?

If that's true Is there a way to fix this Issue? I understand that it's hard to help without looking or feeling the problem... I'm thinking their might be someone that had the same issue or knows what i'm talking about

It's really annoying to me. after I installed the bumper it feels like the Jeep is falling apart

Here is a pic for an illustration

your frame has a welded on crossmember on the rear and the installation of your rear bumper shouldn't make a difference at all. if you are feeling like your ride is harsh now that it is installed, it could be the extra weight is effecting how your shock are performing. what lift are you running and is the harshness a general sensation or can you be more specific?

The frame is boxed but the problem is it's several pieces welded together. These frames do flex, TeraFlex noticed that when testing the TB drop bracket kit. When the TB crossbrace was installed on mine, the steering was crisper. The J8's frame is strengthened 3x more than a stock JK.

I have the 4" TeraFelx Long Arm, 37" tires, Fox stabilizer and It's a general feeling.

I like it it gives character to the rear of my Jeep or i'll might take it off and leave it with nothing on... to kinda match my spare ring and exhaust

TeraFlex

So is this frame flex bad good for the Jeep or it doesn't matter?

I don't care that match about the comfort. I care about it not falling apart!

I think that if the rear flexes then the flex has to go back to the front.. not as much though depending on where it starts to flex from..

Joe could this be related to the bumper?

Thanks for all the comments guys

I'm betting it's the additional weight of the bumper mostly.
