Ok so I replaced my front drive shaft on my 07 JK the other day.Now where my D/S goes into my front axle is leaking. I tightened the bolt to 160 ft lbs. What could it be?

So I called Oreilly's and they have a pinion seal for the dana 30, it is for a 7.125 ring diameter. Is this the right one?

Its not that hard but look up seal installation on the internet. Must go in square. They make a tool for driving them home.

Ok so I go to Oreilly"s and this is the part they gave me, it is not even close. I took some pics of the seal and the rear of my axle where the seal is. I know when I took the D/S off and when to loosen the bolt it wasn't very tight, I torqued it to 160 ft lbs and used red lock-tite on it. I figured I would have a hard time getting the yoke off but it just slid right off. Could the yoke not being tight against the seal cause it to leak?

Great, so now I am going to have to wait till the Jeep dealership opens monday to get the part. So can this part be bought at a local auto parts store and if so does anyone have the part # for it?

I know Autozone has Pinion Seals for the rear. My guess they would have one for the front too. Call and ask
