front axle problems?
So I have a rubi 44 front axle with rcv shafts. Both RCV boots are getting tore up drivers one is chewed 360 degrees around and the other has a hole in it. I replaced the one with a hole today and left the other one because its still sealed. I am running 39 in Krawlers with only upper gussets and alloy ball joints. Could the C be flexing enough to cause it to hit the RCV boots even with though they aren't Dynatracs? Or maybe the BJ's not be seated all the way on the bottom set? There is a Gap between the BJ and the RCV boot and they look seated well. I was told they were replaced fairly recently before I bought the jeep though and while I drove it from North Carolina to Alabama I havent put significant mileage on it.
On a side note, when I pulled the RCV shafts today I had dirt in my axle tubes and there was no outer seal at all. Is this normal. thoughts and ideas?

What if you had a buddy drive slowly in tight circles, both directions, while you watch the CV joint?
I'd sleeve and do gussets as stated especially with that size tire....
Don't know about if its flexing and ripping but I'd put some heft there...
Had a person I know running 39" also and d44 only the upper c was gusseted ran hammers 2-3 times a month....I have his axles now and I sleeved em and did the lower c...they were surprisingly straight as a arrow.....

The Cs don't appear bent but it is RSE sleeved and had upper gussets. Some one on a local forum suggested I needed to add washers for steering stops and that the RCV shouldn't turn past 45 degrees. I'm hoping that it was lateral movement from that vs vertical movement busting the cases.
