Post Front Bumpers -AEV & ARB

I've noticed that the ARB and AEV are some of the better bumpers out there, and i was wondering which one somebody would prefer over the other.

The ARB is a lot cheaper, thats why I bought it. And the quality is not compromised with a cheaper price tag.

There is a thread discussing this very subject:

https://www.jk-forum.com/forums/show...t=26468&page=1

The list price is only $150 difference, but you can find the ARB discounted, which can make the difference ~$300+, since AEV never seems to be on sale.

Bumper selection involves a lot styling preferences, so do you like the AEV $300 better than the ARB.?

Some of us do.

ARB for me, cheaper, more angular lines to match th jeep, uses stock fogs, Looks awsome and very strong. Can't go wrong. If you want narrow then this is not for you but if yoiu willl will use stock fenders then its the bomb.

AEV. I personally like the asthetics on the AEV bumper over the ARB. Not to mention that I have never received so many compliments on a front bumper before

I have the ARB Bulls on my 94 XJ, which I've had on since 96, and I can't say enough about the looks, fit and duribility. That said, I chose the AEV over the ARB for the wifes Jk unlimited. The reason, when I was looking at a bumper replacement, the ARB was not yet available.
Although the wife and I are happy with the AEV, if the ARB was available when I was looking, that is what would be on her JK today.

Got the ARB on mine, shes a beast to install but well worth it. The light brackets could use some redesigning though... i lightly ran into a tree the other day and basically bent the bracket the other way... fogs and everthing else were fine though, go figure... I had them setup for the Powerplant though so they were facing out that may have something to do with it haha
