Front coil spacer without factory isolator
I need a 1/2" to level my rig after installing a bumper and winch. I have a 1" spacer that I was using before swapping to heavy duty springs. If I install it without the factory isolator, it should give between 1/2 and 3/4". Is this ok to do? Will it give a harsh ride because there is no squishy factory to dampen? I have read mixed opinions in my search. Anyone run a spacer without the isolator?
The isolator is basically a bushing to prevent noise from metal on metal contact of the spring in the coil bucket.
Coil spacers do the same thing. They are basically thick isolators.
Unless you have steel spacers. But I don't think they make those for jeeps, but I could be wrong.

I ran this way for well over a year with no problems whatsoever. I used a Rubicon Express spacer and the harder polyurethane puck was noticeably stiffer, but I liked the way it lessened the body roll around corners.
