If you are talking about a bolt on front coil over kit, I would not bother. Coil overs are nice though and give you adjustability in terms of ride height and coil sizing. You can use whatever you want for the rear shocks and coils.

You said front coil overs were "not much work" to install so I just assume you were looking at a bolt on kit. On factory width axles they can be tricky do to the lack of room and if you look into longer then 12" travel things get even worse.
