Default Front drive shaft question

I have the 4-door rubicon with a 3inch lift, I want to replace the front drive shaft. Is the rubicon front drive shaft the same length as the X model? When ordering from quadratec they dont ask for model. I want to order the 1311 Tom Woods front drive shaft but im not sure if that is all I need to order, or do I need to specify model of jeep and size of lift.

Should be the same lengths. Tom Woods will ask you to take measurements. Brands like Coast, TF, JE Reel are pre-built to accommodate standard lift heights.

It comes with everything you need to put it on. It will take about an hour or so.

the boot is torn on the stock shaft, I have about 15,000 miles on the shaft with the boot torn, not sure how long it will last. Going to Moab for the Easter Safari, want to be prepared.

Did not know I could get a possible forum discount. That would be nice!

I'm in the same boat here. I'll need a new front drive shaft pretty soon too on my lifted 2009 Rubicon Unlimited. The only thing I'm not sure of, is if I need to get adjustable front control arms or not. Some say you should get them and others say that on the front they are not necessary. I think when the time comes I'm just going to go to Northridge 4x4 and talk to them... The guy who operates the one in Ponoka where I live said he'd be more than happy to look my Jeep over and tell me what I need/don't need.

I went with the TF adjustable front lower control arms and had it alligned and told me he set the pinion angle no problem. He also said that I dont need the rear upper adjustable arms that he got it dialed in.

I'm curious how he 'got it dialed in' with stock arms? There is no adjustment, so how did he set your pinion angle...
