Front drive shaft upgrade question
Since I put on my 4" Rancho Sport Lift (closer to 5" in the front), I've been concerned about the front drive shaft CV angle. I am considering replacing the front drive shaft soon. (Hopefully before it fails.)
My JK is a 2010 Unlimited Sahara. The new drive shaft I'm looking at (Tom Wood's) comes with a replacement flange for the differential pinion.
My question is:
By backing off the pinion nut to swap the flange will I need to replace the crush sleeve?
I have the opportunity to do the drive shaft change at the same time I'm doing an overhaul/gear change on the differentials, taking them from 3.73 to 4.88. Would that be wise?
Will I have similar issues with the transfer case yoke?

If the yoke boot is not torn and leaking it should hold til you can have your gears done.On the other hand,at full droop the slip boot will make contact with the skid and tear it off
