O today I was heading home from work on the freeway, felt a vibration. BAM front driveshaft came up through the floor board also hitting the transmission housing. It put a quarter size hole in it. Also a big crack from I can see. The bolts sheared off.

Check your t-case also.

What is your build? Tire size/gear ratio/stock or aftermarket driveshaft/lift height, caster spec

My first thought was the t-case explosions we have seen in the past. Lifted, aftermarket driveshaft, high (numeric) gears, vibes from the caster/pinion trade-off, bam. Doesn't sound like the lift is tall enough, but what actual lift height did you get, and what is the caster set at?

But, maybe this one is just that Adams got ahold of a bad set of bolts? Or the bolts weren't tight, loosened up enough to wiggle, and eventually sheared? Very interesting.

Old or new Rk 2.5's? With my old 2.5's the front was well over 4" of lift.
Also What did you have caster set to ?

Check this out too. Cheap insurance
