Front end sag with bumper question
Is there a generally accepted / expected amount of sag expected when adding a bumper and winch to stock coils? I.e. Adding x amount of weight will cause x amount of sag. I'm looking at a TF leveling kit, but don't want to negate it if I add a bumper and winch.

Yes. Anytime you add weight you're going to sag. Depending on how much weight will determine the amount of sag. When you get everything on, measure front and rear pinch seams. Whatever the difference is, that's the size spacer you need
Yes u will lose some hight when adding any armor. U may just want to get a 2.5 coil lift and add 3/4" Daystar coil spacers on top of it. I'm adding this spacers to my 4" Skyjacker coil lift to make up for bumper sag
My 2010 JKUR dropped 1.5 inches in the front when I put on my LoD mid-width bumper and Warn 9.5 cti winch. Some of the suspension lift kit springs take the after market bumper and winch weight into consideration when they engineer their springs for the front.
just have somebody sit on your front bumper and measure to give you an idea. I can say with my TF 1.5" performance coil kit I had less then 1/2" with a 120 lb person sitting on the bumper with all her weight.
I know you have a JKU. I have a JK and added 18/59 coils and TF puck kit. I just installed a Warn rock crawler stubby and Engo E9000 winch and did not notice a sag. Mine did however sagged a tad in the ass before bumper and winch. I believe the higher rate of coils helped me. Look into EVO plush ride coils.

Thanks for the replies. My buddy is convincing me to not be a cheap ass and get the 2.5 coil lift, which I will most likely do. I figure this will be best, it will delay my bumper and winch purchase, but I'll have the ability to just add a puck to correct the sag if need be. The other 3 guys I've been wheeling with all have winches, so I'll be covered either way!
