Default Front end shake/ Death Wobble

Hey guys. New to the forum. I’ve been reading and have just about tried everything I possibly could. I have a 2014 JK. Just installed a RK3.5” x-factor lift. With all new synergy drag link as well as tie rod. Fox t/s steering stabilizer and new synergy hd ball joints. Everything is new other than the unit bearings which are tight.

Problem is at 50-55ish mph steering wheel shakes. I can also watch the front tires shake/wobble from 40mph and up.

Alignment is fresh.
Have loosened and retorqued all bolts from lift.
Rotated tires. 37x12.50 they have beads no weights. Only thing left to to switch tires with buddy and check however if that doesn’t work I am at a complete loss. Any additional help is much appreciated. Thanks.

Welcome to JK Forum. Easiest would be switch tires.. What are the CASTER specs on the alignment and also with that lift Pinion Angles for the axles. There are multiple youtube videos on DW . Planman for 1 has 2 on DW.

Caster is around 5 degrees. Was 4.3 adjusted lower control arms this morning. Made no difference.
Read through pinman post. I’ve been over every “checklist” I can find.

Usually when things are just in a range of speed, it's tire-related. If it's true DW that is related to steering components you should be able to trigger it by intentionally hitting potholes and bumps regardless of speed. When you have components causing a DW you can make it happen at 20mph just as easily as at 70mph. If this truly is happening just at a certain speed I'd focus on tires.

Going to try to get buddies tires tomorrow. At this point I’m lost if that isn’t the issue. Like I said everything else is new. And tight

Factory specifications for things like alignment spec's, tire pressure, etc. are for stock size tires & stock suspension geometry. When you start making custom changes, things can get complicated. If you know someone who has a build that is similar to yours & is working well, you might want to ask what numbers their rig is set up to.

That being said, I had a truck with a little wobble around 35mps & a bad wobble from 55-70mph. A 1,500 mile highway run made that all go away. I suspect that in that amount of time driving in a straight line, the tires wore flat again. A lot of cornering around town may have caused some odd wear.

in the top left corner click on forums and navigate to the proper forum/sub-forum like "stock JK tech" or "modified JK tech" -

Once there, there is a "new thread" button you can click and start your post -

Have not tried swapping tires with buddy yet? Have you gone out and tried to hit potholes or bumps you can find with each tire to see if you can intentionally start a wobble or get any adverse feedback in the steering wheel? I am fortunate, or unfortunate, enough to live around some real crap roads so it's easy for me to check things out
