Default Front Leveling Kit Questions

Anyone leveled out their JK using a 3/4 inch leveling kit? Think there is any detrimental effects from doing so? Im just wondering why they would design the JK with a rake in the first place.

I added the 3/4" spacer on the front when I added my bumper and winch. It brought the front up a little. When I installed my FT 3" Ultimate lift I kept the 3/4" spacers. I am almost level now with my rear bumper and tire carrier.

I think the rake helps with gas mileage

I originally had a 1" Teraflex spacer up front with the factory spacer. Once I put my winch on with the Mopar off-road bumper the jeep handled like crap and nose dived and cornered terribly.

I ordered a RE BB and installed the 2" spacer first since it's firmer than the Teraflex spacer, then I used the Teraflex 1" in place of the factory rubber spacer.

The ride is fantastic now, no more nose diving and the jeep is level without any hint that there is 160 lbs. of bumper / winch hanging on the front.

Getting rid of the factory rubber spacers has made a huge difference in the ride quality. I really love driving it now and will run this setup until I need new tires. Then it's OME time.
