jcates98, nice mod. Good thinking. I spent a lot of time trying to figure something out as well, but when I got my Shrockworks mid-width in, it already had two holes in the top center, that perfectly match the bottom two holes on the license plate. Didn't your Shrockworks stubby have these holes too? (Sorry for the poor quality pic. I didn't have the file handy. I had to download it from my Facebook page.)

Yomondo... my bumper has the two holes, but the model I have withouth the lights is a little more narrow in the front, my fairlead gets in the way.

This is what I came up with using two small hose clamps I had sitting in my basement and a small bungee I also had laying around.

I have the hose clamps tight enough that the plate will stay up on its own. I threw the bungee on for some more security.

I think I'll have to take the plate off if the winch line is at an extreme up angle, but it should be out of the way most of the time. I originally had zip ties in the same place, but they did not hold up very well. I wrap the bungee around my winch control when it is not being used so I do not have to look for it.

I just installed the Rugged Ridge stubby, I had the same dilema because it is required here in Texas. It has been 4 months now and it is still sitting on my old bumper. I haven't been pulled over yet.
