Default Front lower adjustable control arms

Well i just spent about an thirty minutes installing my new Rock Krawler FLACA(see title) and here is a funny story for you guys and gals

For the past 18 months my steering wheel has never been centered. it has always been 5-10 degrees to the right with no ill effect on the ESP. i put the FLACA on, and get in and drive to the local dealer for the alignment. i noticed the steering wheel DEAD CENTER obviosly needing the alignment right???? because this isnt normal for my JK. well the service manager calls me about 3 hours later and says my alignment was dead on hmmmmm so next time i need an alignment i will just pull the controls arm off and re-install them i should be good

but on the flip side i still need to pay for them hooking it up and checking it.

just a little food for thought

and i almost forgot ......there was a few peoplt asking about the cam bolts and how to "fix" them so they could use FLACA....you can and should use them both. the FLACA for the major adjusting during the alinment and the cam bolts for fine tuning. This advice came straight from Jeremy at Rock Krawler. and the service manager at the local stealership agreed

I have been thinking about these control arms, but not sure if they will fit my TF BB. What kind of modifications did you make to your vehicle?

I am only running front lower control arms, with no uppers or rears, and it was amazing what a difference they provided for steering and tracking. The Jeep was pretty squirrely before they were installed, but the extra caster has tightened things up really nicely.

Definitely a good tip on centering your own steering wheel-- it is a piece of cake!

....alright....nice post, glad everything worked out great for you ...even though you had to pay, at least you have peace of mind....
though.... I am curious lots of others on this forum have been slightly opposed to cam bolt usage....I have the BD 3" lift (cam bolts included) and the TeraFlex Flexarms on order from Northridge as suggested....now I'm curious...as I am by no means an expert or even exceptionally knowledgeable on this subject I wouldn't mind hearing more input on the usage of both ?
Anyone able to share thoughts ? Thanks

i too wouldnt use the cam bolts if i did all over again. unfortunatley 19 months ago when i lifted my JK there were no adj con arms only cam bolts, so i used what i had too. the cam bolts would be ok but the JK "tabs" on the bracket are shitty to say the least. i do however like the fact i can use both now. lets hear some other opinions plaes
