front shock issues

Default front shock issues

Hey guys,


paint the picture 3 in lift , fabfour bumper , warn xp winch syn line= 210lbs up frot.

so i am now going to be on my 3rd set of shocks up front I need to fix this once and for all. What I have used as shocks

1 oem rubi with TF extensions = leak
2 RE monos for 2-2.5 in = leak
3 RE monos for 3.5 in lift = bilstein 5100 = leak


any one is there a good to great shock for under 100 bucks ea out there that I don't have to replace every year

Rancho 9000 is what I have. 6 months so far no leaks yet. I added bumpers, winch and sliders a total of 900 pounds after stock. Some good offroading in the time I've had them. They are big as heck. Check your application for fitment, but these are a choice. $90.00. And there adjustable.

Get a shock that has a lifetime warranty against leaking. I had a ProComp MX6 shock leak out and to my surprise I found out they have a lifetime warranty. They are usually right around $100 each.

I have been in a Jeep Club for more than 20 years

Shock leaks; never mind the manufacturer, if you wheel; you break. If you wheel hard, you break hard.

Look at the soccer mom Jeepers, they still have the same shocks after 10 years.
