Default front shock posts

Just wondering if anyone has converted their front shocks from post style to eye bolt style?

Also can anyone recommend me a decent shock other then the pro comp es9000's. I have had the bushings on all 4 of my shocks fail within 4mnths of ownership.

i had thought about doing that but when i looked at it it "seemed" that i would loose a little shock length. and thats the last thing i want to do.
