If you have a Rubicon, get the Mopar steel skid plate. It does a much better job of protecting that expensive electronic sway bar disconnect. Plus it's black and blends in rather nicely. Skid Row ought to be giving theirs away for that kind of advertising!

I keep thinking "I don't want to spend that much money on something that can't be seen and doesn't add any performance" But...I guess it's a heckuva lot better than buying a new disconnect motor!

I thought the rubicon came with 3 skid plates the fuel tank, transfer case and the front end. I only have an x. It seams like it makes sense for them to be basic equipment on the rubicon. I'll be going with the shockworks bumper with to skid plate and hood hoop

Thats the setup I have and really like it. I plan on rotating swaybar motor and installing Kilby skid with shrockworks bumper(adds 3" more clearance under front)[IMG][/IMG]

I have the Skid Row plate. It's very strong, easy to install. Not expensive. I think it looks good. And, I don't care about giving them free advertising.

Personally, that seems like a pretty silly reason not to install something. I guess that also means that you won't be installing anything from:

Warn
PureJeep
Jeeperman
KC
Skyjacker
Rancho
Fabtech
anything with a Quadratec Logo
this list could go on for miles...
