Default Front weight on Sahara 2013?

I was told that the 2013 Sahara and Rubicon versions have different springs. Is this true? Also how much weight can you add to the front of the Jeep before you you start to notice it? (spring compression) thanks

Yes they do. Rubi springs are a little taller. As far as weight, normally an average aftermarket bumper will cause some sagging. A winch adds even more. You can counter this by adding spacers.

Actually you will notice just an aftermarket bumper quite a bit and after you add a winch you will be sitting almost on your bumpstops with no suspension mods. Yes a spacer will work if you dont add too much weight but if you are going with a bumper and winch I would probably look into different springs. Stock springs with the spacers will just wind up binding under that kind of load. Yes you might make room for larger tires but you really dont want to bind your springs if you can help it. Not changing out your springs will also make the front end feel like a giant turd going over simple bumps in the road.

Yes and no. I've seen some Rubi's and Sahara's that had the same spring rates in them. The main thing that decides it is the equipment.
