Front wheels wobbling
I've had this going on for a little while now. When I get my jeep up to about 50-52 mph, I notice a faint wobbling in the front wheels (side to side), enough so that the steering wheel moves a bit too. If I go faster it goes away or if I slow down. I've tried rebalancing the wheels, front end alignment, wheel rotation. I've got an appt with the dealership on Friday to see if it's a warranty job. I have a 2.5" lift, quick disconnects and new tires. Any ideas on what's happening?

The dealership ended up charging me a $50 diagnostic fee since I had the mods. They were not able to find anything. They recommended me to a 4x4 shop they deal with (Bullhide). I went down and talked to them. They think it might need some adjustment due to the lift, might have too much castor. Made an appt for Weds to see what they can do. They sound more confident about what could be wrong than Chrysler.

I took it to Bullhide on Weds, they said everything was tight, nothing loose that would cause the wobbling. They said it was probably the tires and recommended a couple of dealerships that do a Road Force alignment.
today (Thurs) I took it to a dealership. Turns out the tires were out of balance and they had uneven wear (lopsided). They rebalanced the tires and indexed them (I think that means they grind them down until they round again.) Total price was $85, which I didn't think was bad considering what a regular alignment goes for . Drove it home and so far, so good. They did mention that it's possible that whoever installed the tires might have put a little lubrication on the rim of the tire to help get it on the wheel. A sudden stop or start could cause the tire to slip on the rim and throw it out of balance. I guess I'll have watch and see what happens.

Mine was inconsistent and turned out to be a stuck caliper.
If yours is truly speed dependent then balance could still be the problem.
Did it start with the new tires or something else you installed.

It seemed to start after I installed new tires. I've had the front end aligned since I got them, but there's no difference. I'm wondering if it's a warranty item or if their going to screw me for an arm and a leg.
I just noticed that you are running Rough Country non-hubcentric wheel spacers. It is very common for people running them to have wobbles because they are not hubcentric.
Sometimes it is installer error. Did you remove the lug retainer clips when you installed the wheel spacers?
Sometimes it is difficult to get lugcentric spacers exactly centered on the hub. Have you tried running without the wheel spacers to see if they are the source of the wobble?

Same thing here but I have just been living with it... good idea on checking the bearings though.
Tomorrow I am getting complete new axle assemblies (locked, geared D44s), so i guess I won't have to worry about it anyway, LOL.
If I were you I would definitely try the dealer, doesn't hurt to try...

Get you toe in checked, you want it toeing out at the front by about 6-7 mm.compared to the rear of the front tyres. that way the wheels track better, and make sure your castor has been altered to suit lift.
I have a funny feeling they're going to come up with the same thing. I guess I'll know for sure in a few days.
