Default FT M Force shock question

I have the FT 2 inch BB with the M Force shocks and have decided to remove the BB and go back to the stock ride height.

My question for all the experts is can I keep using my FT M Force shocks ( because I love them) or will I need to go back to using the factory shocks.

thanks for your input

If your bump stops stayed the same length(where they would hit before your shock bottomed out) then you would be alright. Do you have anything holding your coils in place? Under extreme articulation your coils may come out due to the extra travel of the shock and nothing to hold the coils in place.

no -I will be removing the bumpstop extensions that came with the spacer lift- my concern is will I bottom out the shocks before I hit my factory bumpstops?

I looked all over 4wd.com where I purchased the BB and FT 's own site but cannont find any info.

Mr. T - I am taking it off after hearing more people having death wobble and torn track arm bracket problems using bracket extensions - plus even after adjusting the steering wheel I am having occasional ESP issues. I am running 285-75-16's with aftermarket wheels so I know I can get by without the spacer lift and go back to the factory geometry.

I love the look with the 2inch lift but to me its not worth the potential problems since I rarely do any extreme wheeling.

Adding trac bars will take care of your problem and your jeep can still look sweet.
