I posted another thread on this topic by error in the wrong room, but I have done a search and seem to be unsure what I am doing wrong. I purchased a Mopar 4dr Fuel door and can't seem to get the top left clip to secure itself/snap to the sheet metal. Anyone have any suggestions? I took the housing off twice to confirm that everything was intact and it is.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just installed this a couple weeks ago... First make sure the sheet metal is still straight, ie, you didn't bend it taking the old one out. Second suggestion is on the new "collar" make sure you are seating it correctly on the bottom in the sheet metal; there is a small channel in the plastic where the sheet metal goes. It is step 8/9 on the terrible instructions.

Otherwise I'm not sure, push harder?
