Default Full Traction ..

Alright, I'm in the market for a new Wrangler Rubicon and have already been lookin at different lifts. From what I hear the FT Ultimate kit is near the top. How much more capable will my Wrangler be after I put this kit on, og course with a nice set of 35s and gears, (thinking 5.13 3but open to suggestions).
Any advice ya'll have is appreciated!!

Sean

F/T lift is good...go with an "ultimate" kit if budget allows but their customer service is horrible. Use a gear calculator to determine what gears would be best. Rubicons come with D44's so i think 5.38's are max on those. Stock gears are 4.10 on Rubi's. Wait a little longer and Nth degree will have their kit out...not cheap, but best engineered kits out there. Take it from an installer....me.

I beg to differ on the customer service. Yeah, they may have had some early on trouble getting new product out the door as every other manufacturer of JK parts. But I haven't heard of them not standing behind anything they sell.

I have the 3" Ultimate and 35's. It will tackle anything I am willing to throw at it!

Hey Sean-
Your rig will be a lot more capable (I'll repeat...a lot more capable) especially in slick mud and snow. I don't know where you live and what kind of wheelin' you do but you'll also have better clearance.....look at Rubimon's pic just above this post.

The Premium comes with fixed lenght lower control arms and the Ultimate comes with adjustable upper and lower front and rear control arms. Also, the Premium comes with a rear track bar relocation bracket and the Ultimate comes with a new adjustable track bar.

I'm running the Full Traction Ultimate on 35"s and I could not be happier. My JK rides better than stock. I can't speak for other lifts but The Full Traction Ultimate is everything I expected and more. As far as customer service. I have had no issues at all. Before I got my lift I called them alot and asked alot of questions. They were always extremely helpfull and friendly and more than willing to answer ALL of my questions. Let me tell ya. I am ONE ANAL MF'er. Since I have spoken to Full Traction at the Ontario offroad show and discussed an upgrade to the 4" as well as some other future products and they seemed very customer service oriented.
