Default Full Traction Suspension Question

Hey, I recently bought my first jeep and lifted my first vehicle for the first time ever.

I bought the Full Traction 3.0 Premium Lift. Sometimes when I'm driving on flat surface, making turns, or backing out of driveway, I hear a loud popping sound. Is this normal? I tried to look underneath and see if I could see what's causing the noise, but was unable to find the source. Any help would be appreciated.

I've had a 4" full traction for the past 2 years and i here the same noise. I think it's the sway bar disconnects but i don't know. I go to two different 4 wheel shops all the time for other things and they have never said anything about it. I wouldn't worry about it. But make sure you grease everything. I have to grease mine once a month just cause I live in on the beach but it does get very noisy.

Yeah, the sway bar disconnects are crap. I replaced mine with JKS discos, no more popping sound. Good Luck!

The new generation Full-Traction disconnects have been re-designed to eliminate the noise. They now incorporate a heim joint.

I too replaced my discos with the JKS's and with all the noise that comes from my FT lift if left unattended, hard to guess where all the noises were coming from.

I was worried and frustrated about the same noises, turns out it was the q discos and the rear adj trac bar hitting the r rear spring when that tire is tucked during flex. With time you will notice where the discos are rubbing against the springs.

We have a new generation disconnect that is silent, it's one solid bar with a single disconnect at the heim. We should be shipping these soon

If your rear coils hitting your track bar, your control arms are set long..

Thanks everyone! I'll have to get the new sway bar disconnects. I hate that popping sound.
