Default Full Traction Sway Bar Disconnect

I have FT 3" Ultimate and the sway bar links are extremely hard to get out. They are staight rods with 2 pins each side. It is extremely difficult to take them or install them back especially aligining the holes.
But when i checked the picture of the FT 3" Ultimate on the websites they look diffrent.
Can some please post a FT 3" Ultimate suspension installed picture with sway bar links i think i got a wrong package everything else seems to be perfect but the sway bar is really an ass please help

Well, what you are describing sounds about right to me and IMHO, they suck. I can tell you though that if you lube up the ends with some white lithium grease, and carry along a rubber mallet, it will help out a lot

I hate them! I found on my last trip what worked good was a small crow bar to pry the anti-sway bar down into position. Also if you bring along a 300lb. SDMF to jump up and down on your bumper, that really helps!!!!

This guy in the red shirt works great for the jumping on the bumper!

Yeah, I use them and they're a PITA. The grease helps, the BFH helps and so does having a friend bounce up and down on your bumper while you curse and try to line up those holes.

And, yes, I have used SDMF as a bumper bouncer and he does a fine job.

Default Look at the FT 3" Ultimate Suspension Pic

By looking at it I dont think FT has shipped the right sway bar disconects. My disconnects doesnt look like the ones in the picture .

Have a look at it. Does yours the same or different.

That pic was one of the very first they put out and the links they provide now are not the ones shown in that pic which look more like TJ links. I think what they provide is just bare bone basic links as what they are really going to be pushing in the future is their Rok-N-Lok cable operated, dual rate sway bar system

Yep mine suck too. I think the installed the tubes and drilled at the same time. If you dont put the tubes back in exactly the way the came out they don't fit becaue the holes are not lined up on a template, just drilled in. I solved my problem by re-drilling but no they are to noisy. I am going to add a small piece of rubber tubing over the wire that holds the pin to stop the pinging sound. I will replace them as soon as I can.
