I am thinking about getting the Superlift Superide Select (SS) Monotube Shock Absorbers by Bilstein to go along with my next lift. If you think there is a better shock to get for the money let me know. Thanks in advance...
Stick with the lift you have and correct the real problem. Which shocks did you get with the 3" BD kit? If you got the basic Black Diamond AT shocks, something other than the lift is your problem. Mine rides awesome and I have the same kit with the basic Black Diamond AT shocks. I've ridden in two other Unlimited Jeeps with the same kit, and they all ride pretty much the same, with minor differences due to tire choice. Stay with the basic Black Diamond AT shocks, no need to upgrade.

I'd be willing to bet you either:

1) Have too much air in your tires.

2) The tires you have just don't ride very well. Tires can have a HUGE impact on how any vehicle rides/drives. Simply changing to a different tire in the same size can make a night and day difference sometimes.

You need to be running about 25-27psi in the front tires, probably 24-26 in the rear tires. Try that, and if it doesn't ride like it should, put your stock tires/wheels back on (making sure you have the stock air pressure in them) and see if it's better.

Does anybody have the exact length and diameter of the regular Ft springs so I can measure my HD springs. Then there will be A definite way to tell the difference if any body else has questions.
