Default Full Traction Ultimate vs Ultra Plus

Just got my 2012 Rubicon and looking to lift her up. I had a 2007 with the 3" Ultimate lift and loved it. Looking at the FT site now they have a Ultra Plus 0 Maintenance lift now that "runs silent". The only difference I see out the box is a lack of upper control arms. Anyone have any input on the ultimate vs ultra? I'm going to be running mojave teflon 16x8's with toyo 35's...

I believe the ultra plus is less complete, but you only have to toss two arms to upgrade to the bolt-on long arm kit.
i am looking at a short arm that I can upgrade to a long arm, so the ultra is a great way to go without spending much more than a complete long arm kit from the start.

I'm not looking to go long arm. I was happy with the 3" ultimate short arm. Just wondering if I really need the ultimate or is the Ultra Plus just as capable...

Basically what am I sacrificing by going with the Ultra vs the Ultimate...

Here's the run down..

Ultimate kit

includes all 8 adjustable control arms, (uppers and lowers) bump stops, brake line brackets, front and read trackbars, coils

Premium plus, Same as the Ultimate minus the Lowers control arms.

Ultra plus, Same as the Ultimate minus upper control arms.

So its the same kit as the Ultimate with out the uppers. Running lowers only will still allow you to adjust your pinion and caster angles. You can always buy the upper control arms down the road.

btw ALL JK kits are the SRS (Silent ride system) Ultimate kit included..

Thanks! I loved the Ultimate lift so if it's all the same components I'm going that route and get it done all at once. Looks like my wallets going to be a little lighter by the end of the week.

btw... do you guys do installs up there or who do recommend to put your gear on down in SFV?

thanks..

Sounds good. Yes we do full installs. Give me a ring if you want a quote.
