Full Traction's bushings fixed?
I really like the look of the full traction 4'' bolt on long arm kit, but every review I see online says they have or had bushing problems, anyone know if they resolved that problem
thanks
thanks
A couple things.
We are now running Clevite bushings in the lower control arm frame end. The FK Chromoly heim joints are still being used on the axle side.
On the upper front and rear control arms we are using FK Chromoly heim joints. These are the same joints we have used in the TJ's for years without any failures. These heims do not require any maintenance and are noise free. The rear uppers at the axle have torsion rubber like the clevites.
All this makes a noise and maintenance free ride.
All of our JK lifts now run these bushings and heims joints. We have changed the TJ and XJ long arms over as well.
Any questions please feel free to ask

yes and no,
The lowers will just need the clevites pressed in.
The upper arms will need to be replaced completely as the new bearings cups are not the same as your current set up has. We do offer the SRS upgrade for customers with our previous generation kits.
