Default G2 gears...?

Are these any good? I know nothing about them other than they are priced real cheap.....$170 w/ install kit.

I haven't heard of them (that doesn't really mean much) but, I did a lot of research on gears (mine is in the shop right now getting 5.13s) and decided to go with Yukon.

They were priced right and have been around for a while. Where did you find them?

4WD Hardware....they are new to them

Something to consider: there is a thread somewhere on this forum that mentioned many of the gear Mfgs are owned by the same company Superior and Yukon included if memory serves me correctly. So the G2s may be just fine and are priced lower in order to make some sales and get the word out.

I saw G2 also makes the chromo front alloy shafts....cheap!

That $170 is just for the overhaul kit. You'll need an overhaul kit for both the front and rear as well as the ring and pinions sets and the install kits. That makes them almost as expensive as Superior, Yukon, etc. Don't know much about the company, but just thought you should know...
