G2 vs Pro-rock 44 front axle
O I was looking for a front rubicon front axle but decided to just bite the bullet and buy a new 44. What is the big difference between the PR44 and g2 44. The G2 seems a lot cheaper, is the PR44 that much better. Pro and cons of both or either? Any suggestions would be great.
I've been looking the same thing..............also Currie has a front 44 that I've seen. I wanted to know who's better.
Ive got an 11 that I'm scheduling a BDS 4.5 SA. I was going to put in 4.88's and 35s until I get a new front, then go up to 37's and 5.13's

I don't think G2 makes a front 44 for the JK. Tjey are available for the older Jeeps. I heard they were working on one but not out yet. They do have front and rear 60s for the JK. I have them and have been great
That's weird. 2 weeks ago I saw them on 4wd.com and that's how I got interested, I just went back on their and now they changed that section on their website and don't list one. That's crazy. Hmmmmm
With the lift that you are installing a advantage for the PR44 is it's availabilty of the PR44 Unlimited. It is designed for a lifted JK giving you Castor and Pinion angle adjustment. Most aftermarket axles are based on the stock measurements.

Add it up.
Rubi axle + gearing + gussets + sleeves + cutting/turning the c's + alloys + upgraded brackets + whatever i forgot.
PR44 + nothing
Add it all up, and the rubi costs as much as the pr44, and is still a weak factory housing.
