Default Gas gauge problem

I recently regeared from3.21-4.56. Shortly after I noticed my gas gauge hits E pretty quick but to fill it up from E to full is only 16 gallons. Issue is I have a 4 dr with a 23 gallon tank. Anybody seen this before or know what's up?

Probably need to recalibrate the computer with a Procal for the different gears.

That's what I thought too but the dealership said that wouldn't be the issue. So I'm stumped

regeared from 3.21 - 4.56 will eat up your MPG as is... that's a huge jump in gearing. Calibration would only fix the speedo, what tire size are you running?

wheels and/or gears will not affect ur fuel capacity. are you sure you have a 23 gallon tank? if not sure, take some spare gas in a can and run the jeep till it stalls, add some gas (keep track how much) then when you fill up add the two. simple mathematics

Runnin 35" and aftermarket wheels (roughly 110lb. Per tire and wheel) and yes I'm sure it's 23. Straight from my build sheet

The larger tires will report differentiated fuel economy because the pcm still thinks its running 32, Also some how the Float could be stuck in the fuel tank.

It was re calibrated for the 35's. I was thinking the flaot too but I don't understand why that would make my gauge read Full.
