Default Gasket or Silicone?

Some diff. covers have a real gasket, and other models have a Black RTV Silicone Gasket Maker. What is the best? I don't want oil leak!

I have always used RTV silicone and have not ever had a problem. I have also heard great things about the lube lockers so I think it really boils down to preference

x2 on the lube lockers...It makes installation a bit easier & you dont have to worry about applying the silicone properly....
