Default Gear breaking period towing

It's ok to tow a sedan vehicle during gear breaking time? Any know please let me know thanks

Just broke mine in. They said not for 500 miles and then very carefully after that

They are your gears, do whatever you want. You may be fine, but if you do have gear issues afterward, I hope you suck it up and don't blame the failed gears on the installer.

Reason I asked just to making sure, cause my mechanic just told me bring it back after 500 mile. Thanks guys

hopefully your installer did the initial 20-30m mile breakin adn let them cool down before you got it - then you should break them in under normal use - no heavy foot for at least 250 miles. if towin is in the plans then 500 miles is the suggested break-in period.

Take it back and let them change the fluids, they may even do a visual and check on teh gears to make sure they look good.

So did mine. They won't warranty the install if the gears aren't broken in properly.
